Care to share? I like those two - but there are other good candidates I am sure

David Cason may be the leader right now.

Shawn Forrest

Did you notice the three times he used first person?

thebigabd did notice that. For the record, Sooner04 thought it was funny as well.

Grow a sense of humor and loosen up, skyvue.

Kellen. Time to get out from under Daddy's wing.

Wasn't he just named HC in waiting as part of Kelvin's latest contract extension? Don't think he is going anywhere, except maybe as a HC. I think he'll be a good one though.

He sounds like a perfect fit for Lon ...

Texas Longhorns basketball assistant David Cason won’t return for a third season in Austin, as the program has decided not to renew his contract, according to a report from Texas Top 100 publisher Zach Mason.

The move comes after the ‘Horns lost 22 games in Smart’s second season at Texas to tie the ignominious record for most losses in school history.

A native of Maryland who spent two years coaching with Smart at VCU after serving on the Vanderbilt coaching staff, Cason worked primarily with the guards, but saw sophomore Eric Davis, Jr. and Kerwin Roach, Jr. both fail to show the expected improvement.

Lon certainly knows how to set the ignominious record for most losses in school history.

Lol.

Cason got the guys there. The head ball coach gets the wins as losses.
Comparing Shaka and LK isn’t even close.

Shaka was wasted more talent than rest of the big 12 combined.

But carry on

This is true. Nobody does less with more than texas

Shaka was getting fired from UT until he won NIT

Because like Traveler said, I think we can do much better.
Maybe I'm wrong.
But a month ago, if someone suggested Crutchfield would/should be the next head coach, I bet most people would have said that would be a disappointing move.

What does better mea I think he's qualified to big12 head coach.

Pooh looks like the best one, of the names mentioned. So, naturally, I expect us to hire someone else, less desirable

I'm sure Joe C has a succession plan. He has to. And apparently it didn't include Crutchfield or he would still be here. He pressed the issue and Joe C said good luck elsewhere. So it seems Joe C thinks he can do better.
