Yes sometimes the government has to enforce things that the citizens don’t like. That’s the breaks. If the parents prefer the kids go to face-to-face classes but that might lead to an outbreak of Covid-19 then they might be denied that opportunity. That’s not “totalitarian” and it’s moronic if you think it is.

He pardoned Chelsea manning who was a ****ing traitor and should’ve been sent to prison forever. History is full of presidents pardoning their friends, allies, and people who shouldn’t be pardoned. As usual, you overreact with anything trump does.

JFK pardoned shady people that had dirt on him. Obama pardoned some really pieces of **** they had no business being pardoned. Roger stone is nothing.

Why do you think the numbers are what is important? He commuted the sentences of hundreds of people in prison for years for minor offenses. That’s not the same thing as pardoning someone who is in prison for witness tampering in a case involving him.

You support denying the rights of American citizens that you don’t agree with. What if that was turned around on you? What if your rights were denied by those who disagree with you?

Never said it was the same. But it’s hilarious to think that Obama never pardoned someone that he knew or that shouldn’t have been done.

Nobody argued that he never knew someone he pardoned. Knowing the person you pardon is not necessarily corrupt. Before Trump came along there was actually a panel of people that examined potential pardons and commutations. There was a process in place for that.

By the way, I never argued that Roger Stone was a “threat to the country.” My argument is that his commutation has the stench of corruption. He commuted the sentence of a potential co-conspirator in a criminal case.
