Cy woods vs Cy fair

Nancy has been pretty consistent since her freshman year:

Freshman

Pts: 9.6
Rebs: 7.8
Blks: 4.6

Sophomore

Pts: 7.6
Rebs: 5.8
Blks: 3.8

Junior

Pts: 10.6
Rebs: 7.1
Blks: 3.7

Senior

Pts: 10.8
Rebs: 8.7
Blks: 4.3
 
Cate Reese seems to be the go to on this team. You would think Nancy would dominate but The 6'2" sophomore leads the way.
 
It was the same type of statistics last year. Yet, somehow, when Nancy left the floor, leads dissipated. Reese scores and rebounds, but she doesn't intimidate. I haven't seen them this year, but they floundered against good teams with Nancy on the bench.
 
I am sure Nancy takes up a lot of attention on both sides of the ball but IMO if you have a kid like that on the floor you need another on the other side of the rim to clean up glass or get easy buckets - I guess I'd think you would play manning inside around the basket more even with kk it's 4-1 and the guards aren't great shooters

I agree I'm sure most teams are worried about Mulkey, I can't imagine her not being doubled and tripled teamed...
 
If I was going to double anyone it would be Reese as she averages 21 pts and 14 boards per game.

It is cate reese team.....but saying that, reese isn't super skilled. She just out works everyone and she can finish around the basket really well.

Mulkey has said she doesn't want to finish the season but she knows she has to, well at least till the middle of this month, and then you may see a mysterious injury come about. Her new season for the show is coming up and it will be more about her this time around......so i guess we will wait and see.

As far as this silly thoughts of when she goes out the score gets closer? Think about how silly it is.....we are talking about high school girls basketball. The next kid off the bench could not walk and chew gum at the same time. Any one of those girls come off the score changes. To be honest with you Syb, there only lost last year came when jas Williams got in foul trouble which allowed Patterson to score at will.

I think you need to go back to the semi-finals and the finals of the Texas 6A title, and look to see what the score was with Nancy on the bench relative to what it was with her in the game. Once you get those facts straight, perhaps we can talk. Right now, you are so biased against Nancy that you don't even bother with facts.

Every team needs a workhorse, someone who will do the dirty work and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. We had those type players in Amanda Thompson and Joanna McFarland. We could use that type player now.

I know she was told one season of my giant life would be okay with NCAA guild lines, but now it sounds like she wants to be a reality TV star, will it affect her eligbity? I'm sure she's not doing the show for free...

On another note, if they follow her thru college maybe it'll help recruiting, sign with OU and you can be on tv.

You aren't listening at all..... I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm saying the talent after that starting 5 would not beat a freshman team. So to break it down for someone as yourself who does not understand basketball.

Anyone of the STARTERS go to the bench, the game becomes a close game. When cy woods played north shore in the regional finals they did not sub at all. They lost to north shore in Texas invitational when Williams went out.

So it's nothing to do with mulkey or any other starter....it's all about they had no one else on the team that was worth putting out there. YOU are the one whose making it a mulkey thing. Really starting to feel that you have no idea how to read, because you make me break this stuff down to 8 year old status.

And i telling you it did not matter who came off the court. The fact is there was not anyone on the bench to replace the production that was coming off the floor

WOW....... You are a complete liar i see. If you say you watched the team twice last year, how can you say they "played more than five routinely."

I would never tell you how to be a hypocrite or tell you how to fix things to make yourself to look better because that's who you are. So please don't tell me about how these kids play in the state of Texas or how a high school plays in the state. On a serious note, if it were a Oklahoma kid or school i would give you the benefit of the doubt. Well now i can't even do that just because i now know you are a hypocrite, fix things to where it satisfy's you, and do not know a thing about basketball. So at the end of the day your basketball credit is below average, from now on you will need a co signer

You began your posts on this board by attacking two OU recruits on signing day--during a celebration thread. You have never ceased to attack them, especially Nancy, as though you had a personal vendetta. I am ashamed of those who have supported you, especially given that you have displayed a disregard of any sensitivity with respect to Nancy. Aren't you wanted elsewhere?
