Let's see what you've got

The Good

- Sam Grooms. Really thought he had a nice debut effort. Handles looked tight, good passes, pushed off of defensive rebounds, knocked down two open threes, floater in the lane. I realize his A:T wasn't great but like he said the guys were creating their own shots.

- Casey Arent's hands and feet. He is not a stiff. I liked his quick post moves as well.

- The fullcourt pressure man - really impressed with what they've accomplished as a group with this since practice started. Fun to watch and the guys seemed to really be moving and talking.

- Cam's aggression. Needs to be like that EVERY GAME. No disappearing acts.

The Bad

- 14 shots by Calvin Newell with most of them being off balanced. Just needs to tidy things up with his game. I liked his aggressiveness.

- Drew's lack of rebounding

- That zone defense that we attempted in the 2nd half. Pitiful rotation on that.

- Little Fran's 3 point attempt. :)

The Ugly

- The poster who claims that we may have multiple guys suspended for significant periods of time. Can this program not catch a freakin break.

- The white dude with the bun. The only thing uglier than that was the fact that we let that guy get double digits.

All and all, a nice start to the Kruger era. That first ten minutes with the top players in and running our primary offense and defense was fun to watch.

Boomer Kruger.

Great summary BT. One thing I would add to the good side is Tyler Neal. Really liked his game last night.

The Good:

Tyler Neal looks more physically mature and ready to be a solid part of what I'm guessing to be about an 8 player rotation going into conference play as a back-up to Cam and Osby.

Carl Blair and Sam Grooms are really going to benefit from going at each other on a daily basis, they are very different and I think Grooms just has more upside, but thought Carl looked good too.

The Bad:

I'm glad this was practice, because that zone we threw out there in the second half was atrocious.

The Ugly:

Watching a guy who many would argue has the chance to be the best scoring threat on this team and can play the two or three sitting on the bench in street clothes for violating attendance policies.

Overall: There were quite a few predictions on the final score that were very close to accurate, but those predictions were likely predicated on a game with a more cohesive substitution pattern. We were playing walkons in the first half and then clearly working some things out in the second half. Overall I saw way more positives than negatives, regardless of opponent.

Please explain this. I missed it

It's in the Pledger suspended for tonight's game thread.
