DeAndre Jordan....

Hilarious that Cuban was a crazed maniac stalking DJ in Houston. Blake was the one who sent the text to Cuban that DJ was on a date. JJ Redick said yesterday when Chandler Parsons tweeted the airplane emoji they were already there and laughed their asses off like this nobody was coming to save the day. They had a lot of fun. And how about Blake tweeting the picture of a chair blocking DJ's front door? lol Redick said they were going to barricade couches against the door and tweet that but were too busy laughing.

Cuban deserves this and more. When you hear from an agent their client is having second thoughts you don't hop on your plane and stalk the person. lol Moron. typical Texan idiot. And now he's using it to promote his clown cyber dust app nobody cares about.

CP3 choked against the Thunder a couple of years back. He made a ridiculously stupid play letting Russell take the ball when Russ was trying to foul him

1.) Golden State
2.) San Antonio (based on history/coaching)
3.) Clippers (based upon talent)
4.) Houston (based upon most recent run)
5.) OKC (I want to see KD and RW stay healthy)
6.) Memphis (They're probably a little low here, but I hate their style/pace of play)
7.) New Orleans (trending up)
8.) Dallas (trending down with their recent FA losses).

You can argue and even inverse teams 2-6....and I wouldn't have any problem with it. All of those teams are really that close.

man the west is stacked. crazy

I'm not fan of cuban or the mavs but this was pretty unprofessional of LAC. Nobody is going to want to deal with them anymore.

You are a pro earning millions. grow up and have some balls and speak the truth

The Clippers did nothing wrong. DJ should have called Cuban but he called the Clippers and said he wanted out. They just followed up.

DJ should have called at the same time his agent sounds like a real piece of work in the pocket of Cuban.

I can see being upset with Jordan, but I don't blame the Clippers. Jordan initiated the call to Blake saying he was having second thoughts. Blake told him to call Doc Rivers. The Clippers then followed up and convinced him to stay with them. It was a business deal for the Clippers that was in the best interest of their franchise.

It's not a lot different than D1 recruiting. Payton Pritchard verbally committed to play basketball for the Sooners but other teams continued to recruit him. It sounds like he has changed his mind. It happens. It's part of the game.

They will still have divisions but seed by record. 4 division winners make the playoffs and next 4 best records. It's silly to change it because of the Spurs Clipers series though.

there are only 3 divisions ..

Plenty of coaches have verbally agreed to take other jobs, only to change their minds and return to their previous position.

i don't have an issue with changing your mind. I have an issue with how it was handled. Really? shut yourself in your apartment, don't answer calls or texts?

You are a grown ass man, not a little kid

From what I'm hearing about the Fegan/Cuban relationship, I have no problem with what happened to Dallas. They deserved to get screwed.

Having said that, in general, this type of situation is a really bad thing. Dallas wouldn't have been in any better of a situation had DJ never committed, and waited until July 10 to make a decision.

Agents handle communication with owners not players. The little kid was Cuban upon hearing DJ had second thoughts flying to Houston, frantically texting people to get his home address, following a car into his gated community, showing up unannounced banging on his front door. Of course idiots in Texas think this type of childish stalking is normal. lol morons.

Can you imagine how much fun Blake, DJ, Redick, Pierce, CP3, Doc had making fun of Cubans outrageous behavior? Good for them. He's an idiot.

unprofessional is what it is. it's quite ridiculous and i'm pretty sure the league will have a harsh response to LA for this

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with having second thoughts, but DJ violated the spirit of his verbal agreement. And he should have been mature enough to make a phone call to Cuban and be a man about it....or at the very least, have his agent make contact. Like I said in my original post, I wasn't that crazy about having him as a Mav anyway....and the way that he has handled this (or didn't handle it) only confirms my initial thoughts about him.

I haven't heard anything about the stalking claims that you made above, but they could be true I guess....I don't know. Do you have a link?

I'm a big Mavs fan and sometimes, I don't like Cuban and the way that he conducts himself. But calling him an idiot is asinine....the guy is an exceptionally gifted businessman and is worth over $3 billiion. He is as far from an "idiot".

That was his agent's (Dan Fegan) responsibility. Fegan called Doc Rivers when Jordan decided to commit to Dallas. He should have called Mark Cuban when Jordan changed his mind. He's being paid big money to be the middle man and negotiator. That's what agents do. The truth is Fegan and Cuban are very close so Cuban knew what was going on. Cuban in fact informed the Dallas front office on Monday night that Jordan was wavering. My opinion is Fegan was in Jordan's ear from day one trying to convince him to sign with Dallas..... he wasn't neutral in this situation.

This article even implies that Fegan and Cuban were tampering with Jordan during the season, and some promises were made between the two. Who knows? I bet the complete story hasn't been disclosed and won't be. A lot of people were a little bit dirty in these negotiations. If Cuban didn't know, then Fegan didn't do his job. It would irritate me if I were Jordan that Fegan is letting him twist publicly and isn't manning up. Either that or he didn't do what he was paid to do. I don't know how accurate it is, but it shows a different picture. Fegan and Cuban Best Buddies

Wow! If just half of that story is true, DJ should get as far from Dan Fegan as fast as he can. If you can't trust your agent, who can you trust?

The issue is stemming from Cuban and Fegan interactions, that's why all of this went down. If you listen to Lowe's podcast w/ JJ Redick, it's pretty apparent something is amiss between Fegan and his client, DJ.

Here's a quote from another article citing Rivers feelings on Jordan's agents (Fegan and Akana). Fegan is kind of the senior agent and Akana is the junior one.

"Jordan didn't return any calls or texts from Cuban. He didn't invite his agents inside the house until after 10 p.m. By then Fegan (agent) had given up. He left around 9 to catch a flight back to L.A. Akana stayed and ended up going inside the house to witness Jordan signing the contract.

Akana (agent) and Rivers had some heated words for each other when he entered the house. Akana felt the whole thing had been unethical. Rivers felt Fegan and Akana were representing Cuban more than their client. Akana did stay though. After Jordan signed a four-year contract to remain with the Clippers, another toast was organized. This time they drank champagne and white wine."
