What exactly did they do to get voted into the Top 25? They finished 19-13 last season, losing in the first round of the NIT, and though they have two wins this season, both came against directional schools.
I thought it must be their women's team, too, so I went to espn.com to double-check. I don't much care one way or the other, but it's something of a head-scratcher.
Especially when one considers how long it took us to climb into the Top 25 last year after a very solid start to the season.

Nebraska made the NCAA Tourney, losing to Baylor in the first round (or that second/third round BS). I imagine they were ranked this year on the heels of winning 11 of 14 to end the regular season last year in the Big 10.

I still don't get it. I can't imagine even 10% of the voters could tell you that the Huskers won 10 of 14 down the stretch last season, but more power to them.
In the 2012-13 season, we went 20-12 and lost our first-round game in the tourney. And I don't think we were even sniffing the Top 25 at the beginning of the season.
