For me, it's no. There's a lesson to be tought here. Life is tough and you can't always get what you want, especially for prima donnas like these two.

Why would we want them to fail? To teach them a lesson? We don't know what their situations are. It is incredibly petty to wish failure on these kids, because we are bitter about how things ended.

Yes and yes. I'm not going to root for anyone to fail in life. That's weak.

In my opinion neither player has done anything that would give any indication they have the talent or ability to play on the NBA level. That being said I wish them nothing but the best and wouldn't doubt either one could make a decent living playing professional basketball somewhere.

Pretty much how I feel. I don't dislike TMG or wish him any ill will, I just feel like he wasn't ever really a Sooner at heart, so what happens in his career isn't really important to me.

Warren and Capel have proven WW isn't the black hole attitude wise many posters thought he was.

I hope Willie becomes the steal of the draft and has a great rookie season.

Sure I do....a stint in one of our uniformed services would do wonders for both of them. :ez-roll:

No matter what either did while they were here they still wore the Crimson and Cream and I want them to do well in life. Now I don't think for one minute TMG will get drafted, and as the Spurs showed this past year you can find a gem in the 2nd round. So hopefully Willie will get everything right and have a great NBA career and hopefully TMG will grow and mature playing ball in the D league or Europe and make his way back over here at some point.

I am personally indifferent as to whether or not they get drafted. but wont root against them. It could only help the program if they get drafted.

Couldn't have said ti better myself. Willie's a smart, articulate kid who played some really good basketball for us as a freshman. He was a big reason that we won 30 games that year.

As for Mason-Griffin, I simply don't care. He won't play a minute in the NBA, so it's pointless to root for or against his getting drafted.

WW yes. TMG no.

this

I want as many Sooners to play in the NBA as possible. Warren's twitter had class. He considers himself a Sooner for life, so I will root for him in the NBA. TMG is not a Sooner. He apparently never was. He didn't care about OU, so if he ever makes it to the NBA I won't consider him a former OU basketball player like Najera, Griffin, Griffin, Warren, Stacy King, Wayman or any others.

I don't care either way if they are drafted or not. I would prefer WW was drafted but TMG can fall off the face of the earth as far as I'm concerned.

Hate to be so harsh, but I usually save concern for the ex-players who gave a damn about the University and the program.
