I thought his play at PG today was the missing link so far this season. He's always been a good defender, but today his offense and efficiency running the offense was a big key.

I thought KU played pretty decent today too, not like their performance vs TCU and maybe a little better than they played at home vs OSU.

Besides Cousins, the play of our bigs, specifically on offense and even more specifically their outside shooting. Osby, M'Baye, and Fitz all had huge buckets from 12-20 feet which helped to get Withey out from under the basket which led to nice driving buckets by Cousins, Pledger, Clark, etc.

Again, though, I'm really pleased with Cousins play the last few weeks and I think some folks have been pretty hard on him this year. I look for him to get a lot better. The next 3 years are going to be fun.

He had 4 TOs today and a few other close ones...but his defense and moxy on the offensive end were huge. He ain't skeered of nobody.

His 3's are starting to fall, those have definitely been helping us out.

Once he started arcing his shots more they have started to fall. He has such a flat shot, glad to see it start to fall.

And his teammates have so much confidence in him they pass him the ball when he isn't even in the game.

As I said not long ago, it's way too early to give up on Cousins. The kid can play. He just needs to learn to do it under control.

Cousins has a pretty high ceiling. The staff that recruited him and coaches him think that he will be a difference maker caliber talent at OU. Those that have had a chance to watch him closey in practice agree.

I for one have hoped that his developement would have been less uneven. But, he is a serious talent upgrade.

Loved the way he played yesterday. The only negative, the got a little trigger happy late in the game with his 3pt attempt, drive and TO in about 4 possessions.

You can tell, despite too many TOs yesterday, he is playing more under control. We really need to get Buddy going again offensively.

If Buddy and/or Pledger can regain any semblance of a 3 point stroke, it's going to be difficult to guard us the rest of the year.

Cousins appears to be an elite level athlete. He's raw but athletically he's got the explosive goods. I expect him to make the biggest leap forward next season.
