We just made a close comeback against the #1 team in the country with one of the youngest and overlooked teams and honestly if they don't call that BS foul on the steal we trail by 3 with 2 minutes left...Although it was Cam who carried us and wont be here for the future I'm pretty excited for the next 3 years

How can any OU fan not be excited. I couldn't be more proud of the way our kids fought off an embarrassing blowout at the hands of the #1 ranked team in the country, by coming from 18 down in the second half to make it a game in the end. The future is very bright at OU!!!!

This^ I think we are still getting underrated. Don't get me wrong, we have a long way to go, buddy needs to get more consistent and not force some TO's (just one thing im picking on cause he is our guy) but the likely emergence of Cam Clark could be huge

ESPN headline: Sparty rolls.

So yeah, still overlooked I'd say.

Yeah, "rolled" means up by 4 with 5 minutes left and up by 5 with 2 minutes left...if only they didn't call that unfortunate touch foul on the steal or else it would've been a 3 point game...

A lot of positives to like out of this game. We SHOULD finish with 1 loss in the non-conference but you never know. I think 20 wins is not impossible with this squad even though all the experts doubt us cause of our youth.

I was VERY excited with their tenacity in the second half. That was awesome.

If the future means this season the answer is still YES. We have a team with lot of room to get better this season and they're already fun to watch.

The future is bright. Bring in the 3 recruits for next year along with all of the returning pieces and we have a squad. I love the style we are playing this year.

Additionally OU out played MSU for the first 12-15 minutes. That is very promising. MSU is a very good and experienced team.

The only 10 minute stretch OU clearly lost was the last 10 minutes of the first half. Outside of that it was either even or OU outplayed Michigan State clearly. There's a lot to be excited about THIS year.

While I dont believe MSU is the number one team they beat us on experience. They have that at about every position on the floor. To see a freshman, Sophs transfers and one Senior starting we do have a good future if we play with that team....

I know that's why I said next 3 years, which includes this year.

I don't want to get carried away and take this with a grain of salt, but in 2 years with Hield and Co. as seniors we could potentially be that MSU team. Not saying number 1 of top 5-10 for that matter, but bringing all those guys back and the 2014 class and maybe if we can get a good 2015 class, we would be the ones with all the experience and win gams like last night.

I honestly think we will be a top 15 team if everyone stays the next two years and the 2014 bigs pan out
