Mine is in homage to Spike Lee's School Daze. Great movie and was in theaters when I was junior at OU. Brings back good memories of great DAZE in my life.

I am neither elderly nor a senior in school. The name originates from nearly a decade ago when some of my friends used to call me "Senior" and my cousin "Junior" because we are the same age and look alike. They haven't called me that in years but it was my handle on the OUI b-ball board so I brought it over here. I am "mgsooner" on other boards.

He should be rich. I didn't even know the internet existed in 1991. That was back in the days of thinking Simcity was some big deal.

Although mine is self-explanatory, Wayman would be a year younger than me. Anyone in our age group or older can appreciate that much more what he meant to Oklahoma basketball. Even though I never lived near the state of Oklahoma, I was fortunate enough to see him play a few times. The first time was the best - against Syracuse in '84. Wayman poured in 33 (including three monstor dunks) in a 98-91 OU victory.

Someone recently asked me about my three biggest OU idols of all time. I said Lee Roy Selmon, Wayman Tisdale...and I'll need a moment to give you #3.

I wish that were true. I live on the second floor of a five-story building, in a neighborhood without too many tall buildings. I'd love to have a view, but those are usually pricey.

Actually, in '91, I was on Compuserve and a couple of telnet BBS's, but I had my first website in 1994, so I was still a relatively early adopter.

I was actually on Compuserve with a Commodore 64 around 1982. I've been a geek for a very long time. I think my modem was 1200 baud, and I had an external floppy drive.
