prog is short for prognosticator - someone who can see in to the future or predict things. Originally started as part of the investment club that I was once in and then I took it as my own as I transitioned from a CPA to an investment portfolio manager.

Mine comes from the fact that I was born and raised in Oklahoma, a life long Sooner fan, and I moved to North Carolina for a coaching position here (which I parlayed into my first college head coaching job this fall). . . Hence the move gave me the name NorthCarolinaSooner.

Oh, and my handle, (is northbase still there?) is from all those campus free throw shooting tournaments that I could never get over 70%!!! Dean Blevins always won.

Nope. . Im in Greensboro now and moving to Charlotte. To Johnson and Wales. Making the jump from HS to college. We'll see how it goes.

Funny though. . My first year here we played all of our home games at UNC Greensboro while our new facility was being built.
