I was watching the first half of Findley's national title game today and they mentioned that the point guard, maybe Nigel-Ross was committed to UNLV but de-committed when Lon left, they said he was really considering OU. Has there been a update lately?

He's a class of 2013 kid so he wouldn't sign until next fall. How'd he look?

Id rather have Clark....or Woodard, either one. Oklahoma kids and both look better on film to me. Just my own opinion.

I'd take all 3... Findlay Prep is a great program and would be nice to set up a pipeline there. I think Lon is recruiting NWG as a 2 Guard with PG skills.

Also, NWG just hit what looks to be the game winning shot against Montverde in the National HS Invitational Championship.

Wasn't Nigel Wiliams-Goss a top 50 recruit coming out of high school? I know he was in the top 100, but I seem to remember that he was in the top half of that list.

I do know he was all set to go to UNLV until Kruger announced he was leaving. He expressed an interest in following Lon almost immediately. So, it's no surprise that OU is one of the schools he's considering now

Ada.....he is only a JR.....

And I doubt Kruger is taking all three next year......if he does I'm not complaining.......but you have to factor in parker as well.......you'd think we'd be taking some bigs with some of those available scholarships........

I trust Kruger and Co. If they load up at the guard spots I have no issues.

Thanks for setting me straight on the class he's in, NCSooner. For some reason I thought he was a junior when he committed to UNLV.

I was right about Williams-Goss being a top 50 recruit, though. Rivals had him ranked as the #40 recruit nationally last year. That's pretty salty for a kid who was a sophomore when those rankings came out. He's ranked as the #4 point guard.

Still, I'm with you on Clark. It would be really heard for me to pick any high school PG I've seen in years over Stevie. He's easily in my top three wish list of the 2013 recruits I want to see OU sign.

I'd rather have Williams-Goss than Woodard I think, but as long as we get a pg, I think Parker is important given his size to play the 2/3 spots. Can't have a teams full of PG's.

This is also why I think Cousins will have a hard time getting PG minutes in 2013 and beyond. Look at all this PG talent we are in on. Clark. Woodard. Williams-Goss. Kendall Harris. Daquein McNeil. And several other combo guards. We land 2-3 of these kids, with what we already have.....we'll be back towards the top of the Big 12 in no time.

If NWG comes here I'm not going to complain.....I'm all for loading up on talent......but I am REALLY for going for the in-state talent that Oklahoma has coming the next 2-3 years and I don't see where Kruger and Co are going to have room on the floor for so many guards. I trust they will find some bigs as well......but I really want to see Clark, Parker and Woodard in crimson and cream......but if there is a NWG trade off for Woodard I won't complain about it.....I am curious where they would find playing time for Hield, Hornbeak, Cousins, Clark, Parker, NWG, Woodard.....something has got to give. That being said....I don't think they land ALL of those guys.

Either way......it is nice to have an exciting discussion about OU basketball and their future.

It'll be tough to beat TU for Parker... Again, I say take the guys that commit and want to be here. Don't put all your eggs in the Oklahomans 2013 basket...
