It’s best for both parties if he moves on after this year.
Yes. I think so.Do we really have to wait that long?
I want someone else to pay his buyout. Maybe idiot joe castiglione can pay it, such a moronIt’s best for both parties if he moves on after this year.
I really think there is a chance he goes back to Loyola after the season. They stink. It’s not working with their coach. If (when) Porter fails again this year, he might be smart enough to know that his next chance to salvage his career is to go back to the only place he ever had any real success. If he stays here and waits to get fired at some point down the line, he might have a much harder time getting hired by even a mid major, let alone one he likes as much as Loyola. He’s not young, and his terrible track record at OU will scare plenty of programs off. We could throw in the culture wall to sweeten the deal for Loyola.I want someone else to pay his buyout. Here's hoping..I really think there is a chance he goes back to Loyola after the season. They stink. It’s not working with their coach. You are what your record says you areHere's hoping..
Fun fact: drew valentine even with his current 3-7 disastrous season and last place standing in the A-10 this year, STILL has a better career win % than PM's career at Loyola..
.597 (DV)
vs.
.571 (pm)
the administration is risking losing the fan base to an extent that would be very damaging.
Whiner Moser is the most porter moser there is..For me, it's too late. This year and last year's home schedule combined with Moser's inability to build any consistent positive momentum has killed my enthusiasm for the program. I actually quit watching Saturday night and that's unheard of for me but I have no connection with this team or this coach as much as I try to. I've tried to get on board with Moser (see the Wake game) but the truth is I'm to the point I'm not sure I would enjoy a winning streak because it would mean more of him.
I think our best hope is that Notre Dame football hires him as a consultant to set up and conduct their "we missed the tournament and it's so unfair" whine conference!!
I think this is the major problem. It’s not that Moser has been a disaster. There are definitely worse coaches out there. But he’s been unable to really take OU to the level fans want. No consistent success.Moser's inability to build any consistent positive momentum has killed my enthusiasm for the program.
Idk how you are squaring these 2 contradictory sentences..I think this is the major problem. It’s not that Moser has been a disaster. There are definitely worse coaches out there. But he’s been unable to really take OU to the level fans want. No consistent success.
First year was fine. Missed the tournament by a game or two. Then he follows it up with the worst season in recent memory. Year three starts great, ends awful. He finally get the monkey off his back year four and makes the tournament, brings in a bunch of talent aaaaaaaaand then has the most disappointing eight games of his tenure at OU. No consistency, no momentum.
My preference is still Fred Hoiberg as I have laid out my case for him previously. Oh and now hes whipped Loser Moser H2HRealistic candidates I like (as of today):
Josh Shertz - SLU
Jerrod Calhoun - Utah St
Andy Enfield - SMU
Tony Skinn - George Mason
Casey Alexander - Belmont
Moser’s worst team best Nebraska in 2022. Be careful thereMy preference is still Fred Hoiberg as I have laid out my case for him previously. Oh and now hes whipped Loser Moser H2H
I don’t focus all on win %. I think Moser has recruited well, been a good representative of the university and ran a clean program. I understand that’s not everything but there are coaches who lose and are a holes and have internal problems. So I give Moser credit for that. I don’t want him “ran outta town,” like he’s awful. I hope him and the university come to the realization that it’s better for everybody if he leaves next year.Idk how you are squaring these 2 contradictory sentences..
Hes simply and indisputably the worst OU basketball coach in my lifetime. Again, Capel, has a better win % and tourney results at ou than pm..
