Football question

I really didn't like the decision at the end of the first half. Yeah, 9 points on fg's is bad. but our guy has been really good and someday he will miss but until that day, dance with him.

no second half points and turnovers in Dallas gets you beat every time.

losing to Texas always sucks.
The before half interception debacle was malpractice and BV should be lit up about it from journalists and his superiors

Never said he will. But I’d rather win 10 or 11 games a year and lose in the playoff like Lincoln did than be a team that is under .500 in conference games under bonehead Brent.
Lincoln would have been eaten alive In the sec.

I 100 percent would take the program where it is right now vs where it was at the end of Riley’s tenure

You're crazy then bc LR is still adding heismans and is better than anything BV is doing.. bv is ending our bowl streaks and ending seasons with losing records.. Sadly, 5-7 isn't off of the table this year even..

Riley at usc: 31-15

Bv: 27-18

You keep acting like he's a lock to win 11 games and make the playoffs, as if he wasnt 15-11 the past two years.

He inherited an incredible roster with multiple Heisman trophy winners from Bob, and then proceeded to get worse every single year. He was simply our version of Larry Coker/Frank Solich.

That might take the cake for stupidest take in this thread. And Wichita has said some really stupid things.
That's fine. I obviously hope I'm no where close to right.

BV has two times lost 3 games in a row and I never thought id ever even witness that since John blake..

lol ok

Nagy's big score was ott.... we need to scout/test for heart and toughness. Ott should never play another down. Give Tatum run again over ott
I don’t disagree on Ott, but at this point, I feel like they could have Barkley and prime Bo Jackson in the backfield and Brent, BB, and DeMarco would still produce a terrible run game. What worries me about Nagy is that he did whiff on his first big move, and now we are just told to have faith in his evaluation process and not worry about where some of the high school commits are rated.

Yea I’ll never get this. It is such revisionist history. Fans were a little annoyed with Riley his last season, mainly because of the job talk and the inconsistent play. But even his biggest critics back then knew that our floor under him was going to continue to be two or three loss seasons. And for all the talk about how he couldn’t have competed in the SEC, let’s not forget that his playoff games were against absolutely elite teams. That LSU team, the Bama team … it’s not like he was playing and losing to teams at the bottom of the league. I’m pretty confident he could have put together a squad to, say, beat a Mizzou team playing a terrible backup quarterback last year. Or, ya know, I think he had a good track record against Texas. His team also probably wouldn’t have committed 42 first quarter turnovers at home against S. Carolina.

Our remaining games are all losable...but also all winnable. The odds of going 5-7 are comparable to going 11-1, which is essentially zero.

Our offense is nothing special, but our defense is in discussion for best in the country, and almost impossible to push out of the top 10. Very real chance that the defense will put up more points than the opposing team at least once this year.

He has averaged 4.7 losses per season thr past three years. I don't think you know what a floor is.

No one bats 1.000. But Ott was a catastrophic miss. We could have obtained more OLs or WRs or some real TEs

One thing I will say is that it was great to let our bums/cancers leave from last year. For example, sharp and anderson. They combined for 2 catches tonight for 13 total yards..

Not with our no TOs against teams with a pulse trend..

Not at OU he didn’t. He made a stupid decision leaving and taking a job at a place that had become largely irrelevant, and where the fan base had checked out. At OU, he never lost more than two games.

Funny enough, though, even with him averaging that many losses, you know who has done worse? That’s right, his replacement, who has averaged 5.7 losses.
