First half went exactly as the scouting report projected and all we get in the game thread is whiny bedwetting.
Their offense can move the ball but won't beat us unless they make us pay through the air. Our defense is too good to get beat by a one dimensional offense.
Tough sledding for the offense, but as Gabe said, they can't match up with our speed. Was only a matter of time before Sategna broke one like he predicted. Sooner or later the refs will have to start throwing flags on those DPIs.

yeah....the scouting report indicated our offense is putrid. total shock when it's able to score a td.
arbuckle and mateer need to find a new team next season.
Gabe said it pregame that they can't run with Sategna, which is exactly what happened. Offense put up 14 at half. Not sure what you were expecting.

He had a wide open man open underneath to keep that drive going. Just move the damn chains and work the clock.

I have to agree. Mateer is not remotely accurate on passes traveling more than 10 yards, so why would he even try that on a 3rd and 2!? Terrible play call.
And since we can't run the ball, Missouri will get extra possessions. Let's hope the defense can keep playing the way they have most of the game.

Man that possession … what are the coaches thinking? Get the ball at midfield with a two-score lead and time running down in the third quarter. Three plays, no attempts to run the ball, and you barely take any time off the clock before punting it into the end zone.
We are 5% run and 95% pass. That is not a balance football team. A lot of the drive we just need to run to pick up 2 yards, we just completely abandon the run and are pass happy. There are so many 3rd and 2 or 3rd and 3 that we got stall on the drive.
It’s bad football man. Just bad all around

This should be so basic, but we keep snapping the ball with 15-20 secs on the play clock
Another 3rd and 2 coming up to start Q4. If this is another long pass that falls incomplete, I'm going to lose it. I love the way the defense has played, but we can't just assume we're going to keep getting stops. The offense has to hold up their end as well.
Don’t worry it was a one yard rushing loss.
Honestly, at this point, I fully expect OU’s defense to hold MU to, at the worst, field goals only. It’s that good.
Yeah, but it's still a higher percentage play than Mateer throwing the ball 10-15 yards downfield.
At least our defense got another stop...but I hope we can at least take some time off the clock here.

Last three snaps we gave Mizzou 25 extra seconds based on when we snapped the ball, not to mention the 80 seconds due to the incompletions.
