Football question

Yes, I won’t be surprised at all if ND jumps us. Not because they should but because there will be so much pressure on committee to do that.

If Alabama wins tonight and then beats UGA they will likely jump us as well.

Not a good day for us in other games either with both Michigan and Tennessee getting thumped.

Our strength of schedule is much better than Notre Dame. Curious why you all think.tjat? What criteria do you think would have them jump us. Assuming they win tonight?

I don’t think ND should jump us. I just think there is a good chance the committee will do that. Style points matter later in the season than they do early. It’s human nature. You also have Texas begging for a spot and lowering us would be more human nature within the committee. But we should stay where we are based on results.

I think the committee has talked a lot over the years about looking for complete teams. It gives them room to move them ahead of us if they want to. Our resume is better without a doubt, but they look like a more complete team. I think cases can be made both ways.

maybe a more complete team, but not a team that beat

Honestly would be all about that scenario. If we drop to 10, that likely means we play A&M and then a team other than Ohio State, Georgia, or Alabama. Likely Indiana or Texas Tech. I'll take my chances.

I'll be very surprised if we don't drop. I've been watching CFB long enough to know that either ND or Texas will always be the highest ranked 1-loss or 2-loss team.
