Fouling when down 13? Why Jeff?

That was pretty weak crap Jeff.. Fouling on the road, down 13 points with a 1:45 to go, lol.

I bet he was trying to get the ball back to score some more because they didnt want to only have 42 points for the entire game. Why else would you foul in that situation?

I guess you'd rather him wave a white flag? We fouled once or twice (I can't remember which). If A&M had missed a couple of free throws and we somehow drained a couple of threes, maybe we have a shot to make it interesting.


I'd rather our team fight than just quit. No one expected us to beat Baylor a couple of years ago down 6 with 30 seconds left or whatever it was.

Just a guess, but since we seem to do that a lot when down 13 or so, I think he is trying to practice by telling the team the goal is to get it to single digits or something.

If OSU was playing in Norman, down 15 points in the final 2 minutes, the entire LNC would be booing them all the way back to Stillwater if they started fouling.

And anyone who knows basketball, as well as OSU's head coach, wouldn't give two ***** if the crowd was booing. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME UNTIL THE GAME IS OVER.


Yes, there was very little chance we were going to win that game. But there WAS a chance, especially if A&M had missed those free throws and we had made them pay on the other end.


But then again, I guess we should consider the fans feelings and not upset them so maybe they'll like us more?

This is really freaking dumb. I'm sure Capel really cared whether we only scored 42 points or 44 points or 50 points. It's not like any of those are good totals for the game. I'm sure Capel was on the bench thinking "If we can foul and score a few more points here, it will make this loss less difficult to take and the administration and fanbase will be more kind". Give me a freaking break.


Some of you try so hard to find a reason to bash Capel it's just laughable. Reminds me of Kobe's press conference after the all-star game on Sunday.
