@franfraschilla: Said this before but @TexasMBB & @ouhoops have boatloads of young talent. Postseason teams this year but, potentially, both Top 10 in 17-18.

Reassuring to read...his assessment of Buddy and crew was accurate

There will be bumps along the way this year. But we'll be a lot better in march than we will in December. We'llmake some noise very soon.

I hope the team grows enough this year for Young to see that he can step into Woodard's role and take the team to another level.

I agree, this year will be a struggle at times but the future is extremely bright.

Yes, in all the excitement i've been trying to prepare myself that there are going to be some real struggles. Some ugly games. No Buddy to singlehandedly bring us back and win games like LSU last year. Conversely, maybe that will be a good thing as the team grows. I'm hoping for some spread out scoring. Everyone is excited how James erupted for 32 against Oregon, and I am too. But I'm hoping this team isn't the type that has guys afraid to take shots, waiting on one person(James) to take the pressure shots. It seemed like Lattin and Spangler, and even Cousins and Woodard to a lesser extent would defer to Buddy in alot of tight situations. Of course you want your bellcow to take those most of the time. But I look at this young team as a chance to cultivate multiple confident scorers. Whether or not that will happen who knows.

I hope this team passes and cuts more than last year's team. We can not go one on one most of the time. If we are a better passing team and play good team D, then we could be really good.
