Free admission tomorrow!!!!
Taking 4 others!! Roads are clear
Roads are clear right now but tomorrow night and thursday morning are supposed to be the worst for roads. high freezing rain potential with a little sleep. Hopefully it is another bust of a forecast
Was coming on here to see if anyone wanted my 3 tickets for tomorrow; moot now I suppose. I live in Edmond and it’s my daughters bday; she was excited to go, but with the forecast I decided to pivot— rather make alternate plans for her now as opposed to waiting and then having to tell her we can’t drive down and back due to weather.
No doubt the weather will keep people away; hopefully the students roll out. Good idea by admin to make it free; might push a few more through the doors. I’ll be eating my tickets unfortunately.
Of all people, the students have no excuse to not show up. It’s not like they have to drive 20 miles from OKC. And as a general rule, college students aren’t exactly a demographic that is overly worried about the potential for some winter weather.
So you just show up and sit anywhere you want?
Ticket office was very cool about this-- they swapped my three tickets for tonight for three vs KU.
I was hoping after the Bama game that the crowds might pick up. I would be there for sure if it wasn't a 4.5 hour round trip.
My son works for Helmrich and Payne out of Tulsa. He got us company tickets to the WV game, our first trip to LNC. We had great seats, could hear the coaches talking on the benches, it was an absolute blast. We had access to the Courtside Club for breakfast and then a snack at halftime. I will be honest, after reading this board for a few years I wasn't expecting much but it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It wasn't packed but it was pretty loud.
I was close enough to hear the African American ref say to Porter, after sprinting from the WV baseline to the OU bench, " I will toss you, try me, I dare you".
This last part wasn't meant to start a debate over officiating. It was pretty even throughout the game in fact I think WV thought they were getting hosed listening to a few people next to me. LOL
What did Moser do?
He stopped talking to him and walked to his bench. Probably the loudest moment of the entire game. The crowd was giving him the business. Actually there were two times that it got pretty heated. The other time was earlier in the first half, one of the refs followed Porter from the scorer table all the way to the OU huddle barking at him. I couldn't hear what Porter said, because it was very loud. He stood in the huddle for a good amount time barking at Porter while Porter had his back to him. I will be honest, I don't know what Porter said to him, hell he could have talked about his mother for all I know, the ref sure looked unprofessional doing it though. Those two incidents were the loudest point of the game until the end.

LOL great stuff. I can't believe Porter taking that lip from the ref. He must have said some crazy stuff...
