i sure they will announce that if a ticket holder shows up please give them their seat ... but yeah pretty much a free for all except for the floor seats

Well you would expect an announcement like that but no, the ones who actually paid to watch that debacle had to fight and argue with people to get to sit in the seats we paid for. The athletic departments execution was about as good as the on the floor execution.

Yeah, it seems the athletic department has found the right promotion to get fans to support the basketball team….free admission….season ticket holders be damned.

I took my 3 kids, they have never been able to sit in the lower bowl so we were pumped as was everyone else around us to be behind our bench about 10 rows or so. This was an hour before tip-off. Season ticket holders started showing up and people were getting up with no fuss all around us. My 7 year old stood in front of me so we only took 3 seats, sure enough at 8:30 a couple shows up and we were in their seats. There was no where for us to sit so we left at the 10 minute mark. As we were leaving the doors two people were trying to get in and they couldn't enter without a ticket, they were pissed!
