GAME 11 - OKLAHOMA (7-3) vs Kansas City (2-9) 6:00pm CST on SECNETWORK

some of yall spend too much time on metrics. Just win
Metrics are a great indicator to tell you how good/bad your team is.

Considering we just don't blow out the worst teams in Div-I and haven't in Moser's tenure...I would say there is a good correlation between that and our post-season track record.

The statement above is further evidence that the "big picture" continues to escape the simple minded of our fanbase.
I'm fine with being simple minded.
Win games and it all works out

Worrying about scheduling the 200th best team vs the 300th best team is just silly.

Call me simple minded. Call me an old. I don't care. Winning takes care of everything...especially in conference play.

And if we are at a point in the program where the difference in us getting into the tournament or not is because we played a 300 ranked team vs a 200 ranked team, then we aren't anywhere near where we should be as a program anyways.

Yes you’re simple minded and you don’t understand. The metrics reveal a lot about teams but not everything. Sometimes, not playing well is a product of guys just sleep walking through a game because they’re better than the other team. However, when you have 5 years of data that suggest you aren’t very good and the results to back that up, maybe it does mean something. So you saying “just win” completely misses the mark and shows you are simple minded and don’t understand the argument.
