The one thing I’ll say for people who are arguing we shouldn’t overreact to one game: last year, we played our first road game against Bama. Everyone was giddy over our noncon and thought we had turned the corner. We got absolutely blasted … and that very much was a sign of things to come. The Bama game exposed all our flaws and showed how much better the really good/great teams were. This seems like the same thing, only difference being it’s November rather than January. But I’m not sure why we should have much confidence that Moser will get it figured out. I mean, he has had four years to “figure out” how to fix our rebounding and turnover issues, and hasn’t come close to cracking the code. Are we to trust that this game will suddenly lead to a eureka moment??
If we had won, you wouldn't put any stock in it. I know this for a fact, as evidenced by games like Michigan where you expected us to get smoked.
You've always been the person screaming about not putting stock in noncon games when we're winning, so don't change your tune just because it fits your Lon narrative.
