I agree. Add JM missing 3 or 4 wide open 3's, and it's a wrap.

how many turnovers? how many missed 3's in the first half?

This is true. We had a few uncharacteristic free throw misses and some really bad turnovers. We had a pretty long stretch in the second half where we played lights out though.

Not great athleticism? That’s the worst take I have seen on the board. Fears is a very good athlete and will only improve as he adds weight and ages. Is he not our best creator partially due to his speed and athleticism?

It happens. It’s not on the coach. U fortunately our best player is a freshman and he didn’t clutch up for those free throws. I still love fears. Just wish we had 1 more post or playmaker on our team but we couldn’t afford it.

I don’t have many complaints about the offense but the lack of defensive adjustments was staggering. You can’t let one guy beat you when he is red hot, especially when you pretty much know he is only looking to drive.

I agree I would have doubled Oweh in the last couple of minutes and possibly taken our chances letting someone else beat us. But there were defensive breakdowns where guys simply got lost and/or were out of position. Tonight was a tough call in that our defense was bad by several players most of the night, but we were scoring.

Hats off to Oweh, glad he had success but as others have mentioned pretty mindblowing to adjust so little to him by PM. Not shocking in year 4 of this.

Kentucky’s roster is way more talented ($$$) than ours. That’s usually what wins out in those situations, and it did tonight.

That’s a legit excuse sometimes, but you have to overcome that once in a while, and Moser never has been able to.

Yes but two of their main guys were out or limited.

And they STILL had more talent out there, which says a lot.

Moser is done here, but no coach will do much more winning unless we step up our NIL game.

I know we will never match Kentucky, but we have to be able to afford at least one legitimate big man. That’s not an option if we want to compete.

Seeing Texas lose usually makes me happy, but i'm to the point where Porter Moser and his basketball teams have robbed me of the joy that OU basketball, and NCAA basketball in general used to bring.

we got a better shot with fears going right to basket then if called a time out. I wish fears would have shot a 5-7 footer instead of going right at the big.

Yeah you can clearly see JM or Fears weren't saying anything, and Garrison got in Fears' personal space. That's when JM jumped in to defend his teammate. 100% on Garrison.

That’s ridiculous. Moser coached a good game tonight. It wasn’t perfect but it never is. If Fears makes his free throws with 2 minutes left we probably win. If the refs didn’t absolutely raw dog us in 2nd half we probably win. Moser has lost us other games but I’m not putting this on him tonight against a team whose roster is paid at least 5 times what ours is.

Goodine fumbling a simple rebound and uk got a 3 off of it.. this team is talented at finding ways to lose.

If I had to pick 1 coach to go out and lose a basketball game or I'd die, pm would be a first-ballot hall of famer pick

I was just enjoying some Blake and Buddy highlights during march madness. Just finished watching OU whip #1 Maryland at the LNC under Kelvin too. Good times.

I’ve watched that play repeatedly and I don’t see a foul. Fears didn’t even think he was fouled.
