Regarding our seeding, which could end up anywhere from 10-12, these games will be of interest to us today:
Charlotte/St. Louis - need a Charlotte loss here.
Virginia/NC State - need a Virginia loss
Alabama/Tennessee - probably better for us if Tennessee goes down.
Butler/LaSalle - need a Butler win here
Vandy/Kentucky - need the Commodores to take care of business
Oregon/Utah - need Oregon to finish off Utah and prevent a Cinderella run.

So far, the afternoon session is going quite well with respect to OU's position.

Charlotte, Virginia and LaSalle have all lost. And Tennessee is down to Alabama at half.

In addition to the above games, North Carolina and Duke should take care of business against possible bid-stealers Florida State and Duke this evening.

Don't forget about Ole Miss.
If they make a run they could potentially bounce us down.
But that only happens unless they win at least 2, I'd think.
Just another team of interest to pull against.

Then again, that means pulling for Benedict Mizzou.

Ole Miss had an awful end to their year. I think they need to get to the SEC championship

Probably right.
I'm just adding them so people have another game with a rooting interest.

Maryland is another but their OOC was so awful they need to at least get to the ACC championship to get on the bubble

I don't know about you guys, but it seemed to me our worse possible scenerio was Baylor or Texas winning the Big 12, and stealing one of the 5 seeds likely to be given the Big 12. With both of them losing, don't you guys think that the big 12 will put 5 teams in?

This being said, it can't hurt for some other bubble boys to lose.

I continue to say the worry about us not getting in is much ado about nothing.

Everyone here views our resume under a microscope because they follow the team so closely. I promise other bubble teams' resumes are far worse than ours.

That's why even with our late season swoon we've stayed safely inside everyone's projections.

Debating how we'll fare once in the tourney is another topic.

OU is in.

We're mostly (I think) talking about where the seed is going to fall.

Other scores are certainly making me feel a lot better about our résumé. Makes me vomit, but I am ready to cheer for a Duke tonight. Go Vandy, Mizzou, and Temple too.

I don't think there is a chance in hell they get by Duke tonight, but if they do, that would give them 2 wins over Duke. Having said that, they're profile pretty much stinks with regards to SOS, quality wins, etc.

I agree we've always been in. I was thinking we will probably be an 11 or a 12 before the day started, but now I'm thinking we may have a chance at a 10 with all of the losses around us.

Yep. That is the thing I am watching the most.

Whether we can get back up on that 10 line and safely away from that 'First Four' BS.

Dayton feels like impending doom, to me.

A 10 or 11 seed is looking more likely. Would be nice to avoid the play-in games. Heck......it's going to be nice just to be back IN the tournament.

Looks like Maryland over Duke.

Jeff didn't help recruit any big men.

Glad Kentucky lost. Are they still in? I hope vandy doesn't win the sec tourney to steal a bid.

In one of my above posts, I couldn't have been more wrong on that game. Maryland looked sharp and Duke looked like they didn't even want to be there. If Maryland wins tomorrow, they have a chance at sneaking in and grabbing a 12 seed....but it won't affect us at all.
