Any OSU fan stupid enough to call Fran an OU home needs a refresher course on how he has beat the drum for Smart, Ford and the entire Poke team since the season got underway. He praised Smart so much during the Bedlam game, one would have thought OSU was the only team playing that day.

That stopped less than a month ago when Fran finally woke up and realized that he was not being objective as a reporter, and that he could no longer ignore the issues Smart brought to the floor. It started with his flopping that was already getting national attention from nearly everyone but him. His criticism escalated after the chair kicking incident.

I like Fran Fraschilla as a color commentator. But any suggestion that he is an OU homer because his son is on our roster is not even close to the truth.

One thing that cracks me up about this whole thing is that Fran was calling out the OSU fans early in the season for them wanting Ford fired. Now that OSU has been on a downward spiral, I haven't heard him say anything lately. I wonder if he's changed his opinion on Ford now.

He was real careful not to mention either way whether Ford needed to be replaced. Since Fran's an ex-coach I doubt he would ever say that anyway because that's like a fraternity.
