We have an 11, 8 and 7 seed in the great 8 (plus MSU as a 4 seed). If seeding holds up the average seed should be 1.5 (4 fours and 4 twos). This year the average is 4.5. I wonder what the highest ever was? I bet this is close.

I am so impressed by the run Dayton is making; beating Ohio State, Syracuse and Stanford. They are a fun team to watch.

Good luck with Florida though.

Kentucky impressed me last night. Hit a high percentage of shots and kept composure the entire game. These youngsters are coming together and could win it all. I would HATE to see that.

Looking at the brackets, I am struck once again at the injustice that was done to Wichita State by the seeding committee. Helluva tough bracket to stick a #1 seed with. I rooted for the Shockers, but have to admit that probably L'ville would have taken them out if Kentucky didn't.

What I am saying is that while the Shocks would not have gotten to the Final 4 again this year (I don't think), they probably, with decent seeding have made it at least to the Elite 8. They got screwed, IMO.

Kentucky is an amazingly talented YOUNG team. They will be tough for the next 2-3 years...

Maybe with new players, all these players will be in the NBA.
