Great assessment on Blair, Coach Capel.

It sounded like Carl had won the job. He talked to the media about Carl winning the job, talked about how much better he has gotten, that he is in command of the offense.

And then......

A few hours later, Carl starts at PG:
5 fouls
5 turnovers
1 point
1 assist
8 minutes of action

Great evaluation of our PG needs, coach.

Well, i cant put that all on Capel cause Blair had a lot of us fooled...he looked in command of the offense IMO...well, the Kentucky game at least...i didnt see the other two...

but i do agree i am fully on the Newell at PG bandwagon now...i will take 6 assists and 6 turnovers with 15 pts over 5 turnovers in 8 minutes...he is gonna turn it over a lot, but at least he provides some energy and a scoring punch that is much needed...makes them at least respect that position a little...

Am very scared when we play teams that press a lot, we might have 40 turnovers against Mizzou

I'm sure Capel knew he would get in serious foul trouble as that was his MO in high school, prep school, and at the university of New Orleans (sarcasm).

And its not b/c I don't agree with a lot of his posts, it is just that they all have a certain stench about them. One that gives off a vibe that he is happy about how OU is struggling. No abd is using whatever bad performance made by a player to support his agenda against capel. If Blair has a good game or goes on to have a good season abd will rotate to the next player, ala Cade. For abd it's like shooting fish in a barrel because the team is bad and there's no consistency in players from one game to a next. The sharp people on this board see what he's doing. Started of with Cade, then to Nick T., then to Cam's overhyped, now to Blair. All arguments to support his anti-Capel agenda. Most times he puts it in a question to camoflauge his intent.

And personally, I don't care if you don't like Capel. Some days I'm in that camp, but don't make twisted arguments based on last game performances to make a point. That's like saying "Is Blake cut out for the NBA" after he had an 11pt game early in the season.
