I don't mind as much this KU team doing well.

They lost quite a few players and certainly have some nicks in their armor. But they worked their way through the season and had success. One star, some good players, and tenacious effort in most of the games I saw.

Plus they got "Whitey" in the paint.

grats to them. those kids deserve it.

Those kids are mostly punks and/or talentless hacks riding the coattails of punks, and they just completed possibly the easiest four-game stretch in NCAA tournament history.

I still don't care for KU, or Bill Self, but he did one heck of a coaching job this year, b/c this KU team isn't as talented as most KU teams. Had you told me before the season started that KU would make the FF, I'd have said you are crazy. I rip Bill enough, I'll give him credit for this season.

I think he's among the biggest cheaters in the country, and he whines constantly. But he's a hell of a coach and did a good job this year. Winning as much as he did this season is certainly among the top 3 coaching jobs in the Big 12 this year.

Not so much mad that kansas made the final four.

I just don't like the view that these guys are good kids who deserve this.

Robinson's been a punk all year long. Taylor's been a punk his entire time at kansas. Take their entire roster and put them in any non-Mizzou uniform and I hate them equally. I honestly don't know how anyone could objectively cheer for them unless they're ignorant of how these kids have behaved on and off the court in their time at ku.

I agree with Sawyer, Robinson and Taylor are hard to root for regardless of who they play for. Tyshawn was one of the instigators of the offcourt fights with the football team a few years back. He's a thug in every sense of the word.

Robinson is a dang good basketball player, though, I will say that.

I like Bill Self. Always have. I think he's a fabulous coach and I'd love to have him in Norman someday, even though I know it will never happen.

I will also add, most of the players on KU's team would have never played for Williams. Self seems to recruit more of the thuggy players than Williams ever did, but Williams had some down years whereas Self hasn't really.

Great job by the Big XII Champs Kansas. The best part of this is they have eternal smack talk to the worthless hicks of Mizzou. I remember Sawyer saying how down Kansas was, how they had no talent, all that nonsense and they win the conference and go to the final 4 while Mizzou puts on their annual clown face and loses to Norfolk St. lol lol

The Big XII is in the best shape ever. The 3 marquee programs that carry the conference are all around kicking butt.

I dislike Roy for many reasons, but he does deserve credit for recruiting good kids who play hard and stay out of trouble. Although I consider him as big of a scumball as anyone when it comes to violating NCAA rules (and getting a pass because he's Roy Williams), one thing he's never really done is compromise his values when it comes to recruiting student-athletes with character. It's easy to overlook certain things when a guy has all-world talent, but Roy never does.

I could never root for Self, though.

The Big 12 with kansas, West Virginia and Texas is in solid shape. Best shape ever, though, is a huge stretch.
