Hield: "I think we can win it all"

They can, but they have to play better than they have recently.

“I think we can win it all,” Hield said. “We have to fix the little things, like moving the ball and playing together as a group and trusting each other."

Love Buddy, but those are actually pretty big things

Around 100 starts together and still working on trust and playing together is not a good sign we make a run.

In the comment section below is the article, there was a fairly poignant, yet not overly optimistic statement that may hold some truth:

"I hope the Sooners prove me wrong, but they've spent the past month looking a lot more like an early round upset victim than a Final Four team, and the things that get you bounced out of the tournament early look a lot more habitual and instinctive with this group than the things that help you advance".

I really hope it is rest that this team needs more than anything....and that the inconsistencies that have been on display the past month are a product of tired legs and mental fatigue.

Anything can happen (Villanova in 1985) OU got to get lucky on the way.

This team has been pretty streaky. Could see either one from them, depends who shows up and if anyone makes 3's (:facepalm sigh)

This is an excellent point. The chemistry on this team should be indicative of how we played in December, not February. Let's see how we look this coming week. I'm still trying to be optimistic about a deep run...at least more optimistic than WTSooner ;). If there is a lot of pessimism from our fans in general, it's probably because it has been more than a month since we played two good halves of basketball. That's a loooooooooooooooooooong time for us to wait.

0% chance to go to the FF?? Really? Have you watched much college b-ball this year dude?? There are NO dominant teams out there. We could easily be 2-0 against the #1 rated team in the country. We thrashed Nova who will be a 1 seed.

I get it, we haven't played our best as of late...but to say we have a 0% chance to go to the FF is just stupid.

During the pregame on the radio call yesterday Kruger said he preached to the team to treat TCU like a postseason game. I would compare TCU to probably a 15 seed. We'll see what happens Thursday but I just don't feel good about the chemistry of OUr team. When we were playing well they got excited for each other and I'm not seeing that lately.

Sorry, but this team has too many holes to realistically make the FF. Is it possible? Sure, I guess. Every team, even the 16 seeds have at least some shot. I just don't see it. Not enough depth. Not enough offense/size inside. We're basically a one trick pony, and the chances that all three guards get hot in the tourney the way they started the season is slim to none. I'd want to see the draw before making any "final" prediction, but my guess is a Sweet 16 birth, and either a loss there or a loss in the Elite 8. Can't see this team knocking off 2-3 top 25ish type teams, away from home, in a row.

If that makes me a "bad fan" so be it.

Are you saying one and done as in one win and in out in the round of 32? Or are you saying it's more likely we lose our first game than make the Final Four?

The former.

Here's the problem with everyone saying we can't beat 2 and 3 seeds. They're forgetting our game at West Virginia two weeks ago, I guess.

Pretty sure you thought Manyang would contribute WAY more than he has this year too.

No offense, but I'm going to stick with my own opinions, and not really worry about yours. Cool?

Is it literally 0%? I already said probably not. But it's also not 0% that we win in round 1 either. I chose to leave out what I felt like were pretty small percentages. I'd bet a pretty large sum of money we fall out in one of the three buckets I noted above.

I'm more worried about the #13 or 14 seed
