Iowa State fans are nuts

OU shot 9 FT's in the first half to ISU's 2. In the second half OU shot 16 to their 8. For the game there was a 25-10 difference. If it were the other way around, this board would have gone nuts, too. In addition, their best player was in foul trouble most of the game, and eventually fouled out.

I just don't see where the officiating "more than made up for it in the second half". JMHO.

lol, agreed. I would say we shot a lot of FT after the 2 min mark...but they were in the bonus with about 12 min left in 2nd half I believe and isu had 2 fouls on OU. So about 6-8 of our FT's came late.

Absolutely. I've watched that play three times on the DVR and it was an easy call for the official. I still have no idea why the ISU coach got so worked up over that call. Guess he was taking his cue from those idiotic Iowa State fans.

Wasn't the missed Spangler push-off and "and 1" right before the charge?

An ISU lady sitting behind us complained about every call. She even said what a great acting job by Woodard when he got put in a chokehold on the flagrant foul call. I went to Ames this year and the fans were a lot different then last night.

She's right; it WAS a good acting job. Jordan acted exactly like someone who almost got his head taken off.

Yep. I just checked the PBP list on espn.com; 10 of our FT's came in the last 1:41.
