Is Fred Gulley going to play this season for OSU?

I thought I heard/read somewhere that it was thrown around that his shoulder issue last year was so serious he might have to call it quits?

Is that true or not?

Between Cezar (shooter) and Reger (slasher), I don't think Gulley fits into the equation anyway.

Regardless, it would be sad if he couldnt play anymore.

I've heard that his shoulder issue is degenerative, and that even with the surgery he had, it won't "heal" itself. But, I really have no idea, you would think there would be something pretty soon if he'll be ready for summer workouts/etc...

He will return and Coach Ford really likes Fred. He is not a scoring threat but he is the best on ball defender on the team and sets a great example with his work ethic.

He's working out and shooting but not playing in the pick-up games yet.

He will play. He has the best size of the 3 PG's. As said above he's the best defender and he's got more game experience than the others. He'll definitely play.
