Is the Pressure Going To Increase On Sherri?

So how do you know Sherri prays for people whose hair has a tendency to get greasy?

It's not grease. Your brain is mush and it's oozing out of your head.

I'll let you know if my hair stops being greasy.

Nice deflect. You do know Sherri's Christian values (which amazingly include a believe in God) are the main core of all her teaching and education that you incessantly rant and hijack threads about on here.

I find it ironic and humorous at the same time (and honestly a bit sad) that a senior citizen on a message board for the last 10 plus years spends significant portions of his bandwidth and day passionately defending a coach whose main core value he rejects.

But good for you for recognizing that a strong Christian woman is a great basketball coach. Ask Sherri about her faith sometime. Heard her do an FCA talk to high school coaches and it was outstanding. Gave all glory to God.

Now for your blowhard, "rain drops keep falling on my head", quoting the 1950s - deflection response. To save you the time, I won't read it.

Isn't it interesting that I would defend the competence of someone who has a different set of values with respect to religion? Or, could it be, although not relevant, that how she practices her values is worthy of respect?

I'm going to try to get this thread back on track (although it's been going on so long that I think I responded several weeks ago). I don't know who is "supposed" to be putting pressure on Sherri because of the other two women's national titles won by OU in the spring. But like I said awhile back, it's all "apples and oranges." The only thing that Gasso's team and Kindler's team has with Sherri's team is the gender of the athletes. So it truly makes no sense for anyone to put pressure on Sherri because the others won titles this year.

And, if it's fans who want to pressure Sherri, then they need to get a clue. IMHO, the only way Sherri would ever be in "trouble" at OU is if she started doing things to embarrass the school and/or her players did the same. I can only remember one player in particular whoever did something like that, and she got shown the door over it.

That said, I do expect to get ripped for defending Sherri, but that's not going to change my outlook whatsoever.

Thanks for that post, NMSooner. You are right that the thread has gone off track and that Sherri should not be feeling pressure from the administration.

DING, DING, DING!!! We have a winner!!!

And with NMSooner's excellent post, I think this thread should be closed. There are a lot of other things we can talk about in this off-season lull.
