Is this the beginning of the end?

We shall see. All I have ever said is that Capel is a very good coach and the team will be much improved next year and he is making the right moves to get the program back on track.

That is a radical or far fetched idea? He has done it before and will do it again.

Interesting.

Unless the Sooners post a road upset this week at Baylor (Tuesday) or Texas (Saturday), the streak will reach 11 games, their longest conference losing streak in 80 years.

Whose fault is it that the program is currently "off track"?

Insightful post, quite original. Is this a serious question or are you trying to prove a point? Because I've seen people ask whose fault this season's mess is about 25 times in the past few weeks, and no one asking really want the answer. They just wanted to hear the person say it was Capel's fault. Ok jeff I'll let you know whose fault it is, it's your fault. OSU fans who have nothing else to do with their lives than post on an OU board have caused this program to fall off track.

Do you think I'm earnest or am I just trying to prove a point? Does it matter? This entire board is people who've made up their minds about everything but ask each other self-righteous questions to prove points.

Dude abd what is your freaking obsession with coming on this board starting infinite threads and comments about the same thing? You already know (or think you know) the answer to every question you ask. Do you think by asking it in a question form that we will come to the same answer as you on our own and thus you will have gotten us to think like you? I just don't get it.

"Is this the beginning of the end?" (Yes us sucking has caused the earth's rotation to stop, thus the birds dying mysteriously was ultimately an effect of Capel's lack of a system. The world will end soon because he didn't choose up-tempo vs grind it out defense)

"Are these the stats?" (Yes please start a new thread about something we read in every other thread. OK thanks.)

"JP vs Cam...did OSU get the right guy?" (Why didn't Capel recruit Ryan Gomes? I'm Ron Burgundy?)

The amazing thing to me is that these threads get filled with answers by others exactly like the posts they already made 20 times in the last week. It's like people don't get tired of saying the same thing 1000 times.

THIS. The horse has been beaten so many times, there's nothing left.

So what should the board be talking about? Should they just shut down the forums until the team is good again? We can't talk about the problems because everyone wigs out, but if you start a thread about the positives it will get 3 replies right now.

I guess we can just shut this thing down until next season, unless you guys can come up with some positive posts that people are actually interested in discussing.

I hope that Goff and Osby will make a big difference next year. I hope we can land 1 to 2 more 2011 recruits that can do the same. I hope Capel can turn things around next year. I'm sorry but that's about all I've got as far as positivity goes right now.

I don't anybody has a problem with people discussing the negatives. The problem comes when the same topic is started in every thread. Nothing new

I am interested to know why Newell did not play on Saturday. Was he hurt? Does Capel think he can't contribute? Is he in trouble?
