Guys i know a number of you are calling for Capel's head but after watching this team the last three games I don't think its all coaching.

This team is LOST and that is coaching. Capel has the job of getting his team ready and he is not doing that but after watching todays game I don't think this team give a rats a** about winning I really believe they have stopped performing with the exception of Friz and Neel the rest of the team doesn't seem to care. You can't blame the coaches for 1 of 15 from the 3 pt line, you can't blame the coaches for all the poor passes and turnovers you must blame the players and yes I know that this is a very young team but I honestly don't see any improvement from last year (that's on Capel) so to be honest what is the answer, next football season?

As you can tell I am as confessed with this post as the players are about this team.:facepalm

I'm thinking more along the lines of having very little talent.

I think it's both, I don't think this style we run on offense is going to work with these players just like it didn't work last year. I think Capel needs special talent for it to work. And I have hated from day one the post defense we've played under Capel because we basically don't play any defense down low. Once you get by our guards there is no help defense inside for the most part even when we had Blake and Taylor Griffin down low.

We shot 6% from three point range today. Texas shot 59%. All the other meaningful statistics were fairly even. If you can't make shots, you can't win.

It isn't a complicated equation.

There is not much talent but there is NO coaching. There is enough talent to be better than we are. Capel is way over his head. Just watch him during the games and you will see this.

Coaching,talent,attitude...It's all there for discussion!!Go Sooners!!!!!
