Jahvon Quinerly?

Welcome to the party.

Go to 2018 recruiting thread

Jerry Meyer picked us so I would assume it is a very high likelihood he will be a Sooner. Is he projected as a one and done? If not, what do you think happens with Devion Harmon if Jahvon stays more than one year?

not a one and done type. Nova looking around as well. So Ou in a good spot. Zona not going to happen again would be my guess

Nova is going for a guard in Florida first. If they miss on him i’m guessing they circle back for JQ.

I don’t think the signing of JQ would do anything to upset Harmon but you never know. I would run it by him if I’m Kruger because Harmon is our top priority.

Going to be tough beating out Nova, but seems like we are in a great spot.

Harmon is a stud, easy top 50 IMO. Think we will lose his commitment if Jahvon signs?

Also, seem like it could be a snowball effect, might miss on Jalen Wilson too then.

That being said, Jahvon is a top 5 PG and has insane talent. Wouldn't be upset if we lost out on those two.

this is some very exciting news. the way Lon is coaching is attracting excellent recruits. you can't beat that! Looks like Buddy and Trae have started a trend.

I don’t think JQ is in any sort of position to take any money with what he is going through currently. If he is dumb enough to take money while being investigated by the fed then we do not want him lol.

2 CB's to Nova in the past day! :-(

I really want this kid to replace Trae!!! Wonder why the sudden picks to Nova??

Do we know if he'll even be eligible to play college ball?

Make no mistake, losing two top 50 players in Harmon and Wilson would be a huge loss. I would rather see us sign a grad transfer (my preference) or go the juco route than take that chance.

Besides, as far as I know TY has not announced his plans for next season yet. I realize I’m practically alone in believing he might come back for another season, but I wouldn’t rule that out as a possibility. Everyone should know by now thst doing the unexpected has been the norm for him since he signed with OU a few months ago.

I agree Ada...I don't think it's a 100% sure he goes pro. He'll be a high pick whenever he decides to go...and you are only in college once, and I thin khe is really enjoying it!

Not everyone bases every decision based on $$ alone.

My thoughts exactly, cvanglid. Trae is having the time of life as a student athlete right now. That ends when he signs a NBA contract.

Professional basketball is a dog eat dog business. I’ll bet Blake Griffin will agree with that assessment.
