*****Jarion Henry talks to OUHoops about his decision*****

The addition of Henry makes me very happy with this class. All three are long, can score, and are locals. Nice job by the OU staff.

Judging from the video, it looks like Jarion is a lefty. Interesting.

My thoughts exactly Ranger. Local, long, versatile and skilled.

Does anyone know if Hield and/or Henry have signed yet?

According to that writeup, Hield and Hornbeak have signed.

Thanks 79, I didn't read it carefully enough. Good. I think this shapes up as a good class.

So far so good with Lon, I like the looks of grooms, Arent and MBaye. I like the how Hield, Hornbeak and Henry sound, although I haven't seen them play except for a couple minutes of video on the site.

I think it was important to get freshmen in this class. Just to start getting some balance in the classes.

So far, I just don't have any complaints about lon. He seems to be making all the right moves.

He was only rated 119? Seems like he would have been more highly rated than that. Glad to see him come no matter what.

Pardon my ignorance but is that all the schollies? Thanks

I know this is probably hard to answer given how long ago Skeeter was here, but does anyone know how highly rated Skeeter was coming out of high school?

Will he be here in January and be eligible for the second semester? Is that possible? Would be a welcome addition.

OU coaches are looking into the possibility of Jarion being able to enroll in January and be eligible to play.

He's ncaa qualified now after his semester at prep school.

Henry could be a big addition to the depth and athleticism for this team.

If he comes I would think redshirt. He needed a semester to quailfy so lets get him used to college courses and not have eligilbility problems later. Pluse I don't think he would be the difference in us making the NCAA so why waste basically a year of eligilibity. Let him practice and get stronger and hit the books. There will be enough pressure on him being Skeeters son and a legacy some time without lofty expectations would not do any harm.

Hmm, hadn't thought of that. Sweet to have him in the program that quickly either way.

No idea, but if you go to Seven47 after an OU bball game he is usually there, could probably ask him.
