Wednesday night. Can Kansas go 2-0 this season against us?

Will Pellington play?

Who starts at point?

Will there be 400 people at the LNC?

Will Syb file for basketball divorce from his crush Sherri?

Will Colton shove anyone else?

Will Williams foul out before the end of the first half?

Will TV have more points, steals or turnovers?

Will Joe C. Show up or leave at half-time?

Exciting to anticipate!

I'll remain loyal to Sherri until provided with a better alternative. Thus far, I have seen no discussion in the realm of the sane or mature.

I don't know that we will see any more of Shaina. She has to change, or she has to leave.

You don't sign superstars in the Spring period. Nearly every transfer looks to be of no value to anyone other than a D-II team. I get the feeling that the really good transfers are more recruited than independent.

OU wins. Castiglione congratulates Coale and extends her contract until the 26-27 season with a substantial pay raise. Tells her she is doing a good job.

Better in who's eyes? Neither yours or mine amounts to a hill of beans. I do not think Sherri is capable of any change but has earned the opportunity to make a turn around for this program. But I strongly think she will be gone in 2-3 years and that the program will ultimately be better for it.

I also think that Joe Castiglione could find a half dozen better options to coach the women. And I suspect he has his starting list. Just like he has one for Lincoln Riley. His job is to be prepared for all alternatives.

Are you just being sarcastic or are you subtlety inferring that Joe Castiglione needs to go too? :D

I bet Sherri & Colton even as I type are working hard on a winning game plan.

That's funny! On another and more serious note, the first thing that someone (other than "Mommsy") should do (if they have not) is provide "Sonny Boy" with a written reprimand/warning that he is not to place his hands "inappropriately" on any PERSON, on or off campus. He could have communicated the same request by just saying "Hey Shaina, let's hurry to the locker room! Come on!"...without touching her in any way. But that would require that he have some proper training for any work environment versus what appears to be an entitlement hiring. "Do not touch" is basic across any industry.

I didn't see this push but if it really happened there's no way Shaina stays for next season. This programs a dang joke right now. I get that every player is young and most aren't even D-I caliber, but I never in my wildest dreams would have thought we'd be worse than Kansas and Tech this year. And to only have won 5 games at this point. there's absolutely no way we win 10 games before the season is over and no matter how young the roster is I think that's terms for termination. If it was any other coach I bet they'd get the boot. this is the equivalent to Riley's team winning only one, maybe two games all season and we know that wouldn't fly!

I would be more than pleased if we got to 7 wins. That would require us beating both Kansas and Tech with Tech on the road.

The only part that was serious was the first 2 words. I think the 10 game losing streak will be broken tomorrow night and a new one will start Saturday at Baylor. I hope like **** there are no more contract extensions. I would be happy to see a new coach next season, but that is probably only wishful thinking.

Even given all that may, or may not be, occurring, I am still excited to see a game tomorrow night.

I will admit that part of it is like driving slowly by a car wreck and rubber necking — you just can’t stop yourself.

But I also want to see how the ladies perform. They cannot be oblivious to all of the chatter going around their coach. This is a chance to see how much grit each one of them possess.

This moment reminds me of a poll after the October OU Texas game in Dallas.

What would you prefer?

OU beats Texas and keeps Mike Stoops. 20%

OU loses to Texas but fires Mike Stoops 77%

OU loses to Texas and keeps Mike Stoops 3%

We are getting to that point with Sherri Coale.

Preview from Eric Bailey...

Notes: Oklahoma’s losing streak now sits at 10 games as it prepares for Wednesday’s game against the visiting Jayhawks. … OU is in the midst of the second-longest losing streak in Sherri Coale’s 23 years as head coach. In her first season, the Sooners lost their final 16 games. … KU defeated the Sooners 88-79 on Jan. 30 in Lawrence, Kansas. … Sophomore guard Ana Llanusa has led the Sooners in scoring in three consecutive games, including a 33-point performance against Kansas State on Sunday. … Freshman forward Madi Williams has five double-doubles.

The program has been in a slump for 8 years and slowly, steadily declining. She earned that opportunity 3 years ago and did bring in what was perceived by pretty much all here at the time to be better talent. Nothing changed, in fact it has declined. I do appreciate all Sherri has done and for the last few years I approached each season thinking we will see it move forward. But it hasn't happened. And if Sherri is to stubborn to change her way of coaching and recruiting, as many believe, then a change in staff won't fix it. We need new leadership at the top.

That is so bizarre. You have got to realize how ridiculous that sounds. If you think she's problem (relative to the other ridiculously awful players we have on the team), you are swiftly approaching delirium.
