Speaking of which, I have a big time problem with South Carolina being left out of the tournament in favor of a Tulsa team that they beat head to head.

8 wins in 4 Big 12 seasons is not a rebuilding job. TCU isn't a good job, but 2 wins a year in conference is horrendous.

Weber has a very young team with a lot of future promise. They'd be crazy to let him go right now although they missed the NIT. Martin has S Car going in the right direction but finished the season going 9-8 in the SEC and is NIT bound.

Billy Tubbs did not have a losing record in 8 years at TCU, and he wasn't good enough to keep his job. So, based on the stat above, Johnson did not have a chance.

trent Johnson is a terrible coach ..and was before he got the tcu job .. . he left Stanford a year before he would have gotten fired ... then he left lsu for tcu a year before he would have gotten fired ...

that is a downward slope ..

Can't see him leaving Pitt. I'd go get Underwood at SFA before KState fires Weber and hires him. Johnson was awful and needed to go.

Underwood would be a good fit at Oklahoma St or TCU. Either one should jump on him before the other does.
