Buddy was amazing on offense again tonight, with another 30 plus points game. He was so good at scoring the ball that Woodard's 28 points performance went practically unnoticed. Jordan had a terrific night, going 9 of 13 from the field (4 of 7 from three), not to mention his usual clutch free throw shooting to help put the game away late in the fourth quarter, making 6 of 7 from the free throw line. He also added 3 rebounds and 2 steals.

I would have been willing to bet a sizeable chunk of change that Jordan would not score 28 points in any game this season, from any position, much less from the two guard spot. The most impressive thing to me is that he went from a 25% shooter from behind the arc last season to knocking down threes at a 52% clip in the first eleven games this year. That's an example of what hard work and dedication will do!

Great game, JW!!!

JW is a winner, that's all the kid does and cares about. I expect he will have a couple more of these games this year when we need him. Love the guy, I will never understand those that overly criticize him.

I agree 100% Ada. He's deadly when he sets his feet and takes the shot in rhythm. The last 3 he made was a heat check.

Love what Jordan is doing. Isaiah is also better getting the team in transition, although he does make bad decisions alot in that. Would love to see him move back to point to stop runs or down the stretch. He just has a knack of getting to the line.

Agree wholeheartedly.

And I haven't looked at the vinelights thread yet but I hope there's one titled "Jordan Woodard slam dunk."

He definitely has real hops. I am amazed how much he has improved. His confidence should be sky high.

The improvements of JW are what makes this group of guards the best in the country IMO.

If this is a two-year plan by Lon, to build his off-ball game and scoring instinct this year and then give him the keys back after Cousins graduates, the league is in for a world of hurt next year trying to contain him with shooters like James and McGusty on the wing.
