Kansas Jayhawks 2009-2010 roster
-7 top 50 players (Collins, Aldrich, Henry, Johnson, Robinson, Morris, and Morris)
-3 others in the top 100
-A walk-on (Morningstar) who had scholarship offers from Tennessee, West Virginia, Wichita State, TCU, and Northern Illinois.

Mizzou 2009-2010 roster
-No top 100 players

Nebraska
-No top 100 players
-3 international players
-2 jucos and 1 D-1 transfer

Iowa State
-1 top 50 player (Brackins)
-2 others in the top 100 players (Colvin, Dendy)
-2 jucos and an international player

Colorado
-No top 100 players
-2 international players and 1 juco

Kansas State
-2 Top 50 players (Wally Judge, Curtis Kelly)
-2 Top 100 players (Clemente, Mcgruder)

Kansas has ten top 100 players, the rest of the north has seven combined top 100 players. The "non Kansas" schools have more jucos and international players than top 100 guys...

Yikes.

You are forgetting Jeff Withey who was top 50.
Also Mario Little was Juco Player of the Year.
Morningstar isnt a walk-on, he's on scholarship.
Then you have CJ Henry & Conner Teahan as two walk-ons that had D1 offers.

But yeah, KU is so much better than the rest of the North it's not even funny.
The real measuring stick would be to compare KU to Texas & OU.
Both those teams have a lot of talent.
OU actually has the same number of MCDAA's as KU which is remarkable.
It's going to be a very fun Big 12 season with TONS of young talent.

The only game I could see Kansas losing against the North is at Kansas State.

So,

North 9-1
Texas Tech 10-1
Baylor 11-1
OU 12-1
at A&M 13-1
at OSU 14-1
at Texas 14-2

I think they will finish 14-2, which is the same record as last year. The only difference is that they will be much be better than last year when they got a huge break dodging Blake Griffin.

I will be disappointed with a 14-2 finish. I think 15-1 is realistic with 16-0 in reach. It all depends how Texas young players come along. KU ain't losin' at K-State.

KU will be upset by somebody.. Too bad they dont go to Lubbock this year, that place has been a nightmare for KU!
