Of course. But if I was a girl and left the state, I'd want to go to a program that was a NC contender year in and year out. It's different as a men's player with NBA aspirations. You can pretty much go anywhere and become a lottery pick as an elite talent.
That is my take as well. With the increased support for women’s bball, Kansas may be trying to take advantage of the success of the men’s team to bolster the women.

Jennie will have Raegan, Sahara, and Payton back next year along with Zya, who is looking very promising so far. KJ, Caya, Reyna, and Landry along with at least two top 100 freshmen on the roster. No doubt she will have some portal additions. I think she will be fine.
