From Rumor Central:
As we told you Wednesday, Lawrence Frank and Maurice Cheeks appear to have the most consideration for the Bulls as the team starts to head into the interview process this week.
But a new name that's emerged? Bucks assistant Kelvin Sampson.
Writes K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune: "A new name that could draw Bulls interest has emerged: Bucks assistant Kelvin Sampson, the former college coach at Oklahoma and Indiana. His work on Scott Skiles' staff has impressed."
Sampson, in some regards, has a similar temperament to Skiles -- a coach the Bulls fired a few years back.
Johnson also reports that "the Bulls wouldn't be swayed to hire John Calipari no matter how that pitch is presented."
Add that in with a similar report from Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald, and Calipari now appears to be out of the mix for the job.
