I think we can all agree that every home game now is more important than before after our loss to WVU. It's starts with a game against a Baylor team we beat last month on the road.

Aside from the obvious "score more points," what are your two keys to getting the win tomorrow?

Mine:

_Put a body on Gathers and keep him off of the offensive board.
_Put a blanket on Heslip and don't let him go off from behind the arc. He's just as capable of making shots from well behind the three point line as Harris was in the WVU game

Scoring in transition
Not losing the rebounding margin by more than 7.

Defensive rebounding & getting the ball into the middle of that zone consistently.

Since Baylor has size, rebounding is definitely a key. However, we lost the past two games for one reason - missing open shots. Despite a low FG%, we were in both of those games. I'm always worried about Baylor because they have the talent to beat just about any team in America...fortunately, they're equally capable of losing to most teams in America. I'm hoping that latter Baylor team shows up today.

Like Ada said, the loss to WVU means we need to run the table at home if we want a decent NCAA seed next month.

this is where i am. if freakshow talent Baylor shows up we'll have to play our best to win. normal game, Lon gives us a big advantage here. but, who knows? this is a very important game for us.

but i don't think our NCAA seed situation is that dire. barring a collapse to end the season i think we have a good seed situation. we can't afford to lose opportunities at home against BU and UT.

i'm not too upset about the last 2 losses but the tough road loss thing only goes so far.

one key: any time you play BU you have to play D enough to make them work the ball in the halfcourt. get deep in the shot clock. that's not their comfort zone.

Don't let Heslip go Forte and Harris on us.

Ball movement on offense - including good transition offense.

Got it. What about the fingers. Do you recommend fingertip control or is it best to let the ball sit back on the palm of your hand a little? Any suggestions on defense?

If you're only going to show up once a season, the least you can do is to give us the full benefit of your knowledge about basketball. ;)
