Nothing easy about that. Kruger has made the Sweet 16 thrice in 14 NCAA Tournaments. Seems like a dubious record. But Billy Tubbs coached OU basketball to glorious heights; he made the Sweet 16 four times in 14 years in Norman. Kelvin Sampson made three Sweet 16s in 12 years. Eddie Sutton made five Sweet 16s in 15 years at OSU.

Yep.

Outside of the powerhouse programs, it is definitely something that should be celebrated, and not expected. If LK can get us that far in 2 of the next 3 seasons, this one included, we as OU fans should be ecstatic.

I guess it could mean that, or that Tubbs **** the bed like an incontinent mattress inspector when it came to the tournament. Sampson wasn't very good either, but he didn't have the seeds Tubbs did.

Capel sucked, but he's the only coach we've had who has done as well as expected in the tournament in a long time.
