Yep, and Smart just fouled out on a dumb charge. He was 2-7 from th FT line.

Unless I am really missing something I don't see the difference between those two plays.
After watching OU, KU, KSU, ISU, Baylor, and OSU in the last couple of days I think the big 12 tournament could go to anyone. There really isnt a difference in any of these teams. I think OSU, KU, and Baylor have the best players (NBA futures) but the worst coaches, and OU, ISU, and KSU have medium players and great coaches.
Over on the OSU boards, there are several people complaining that the charge Smart fouled out on was one of the worst calls they have ever seen.
If I was explaining the rules of the game of basketball to somebody, and they asked me what a charge was, I would have video of that play is my example. That's how obvious it was. One of the most clear-cut charges I've ever seen.
The bad call was the one Young got away with on the baseline. He was obviously moving and got a gift.
So KU makes what, one basket in the two OT? Another game they should have lost.
You can take a charge while moving as long as you have legal guarding position.
Did anyone see Travis Ford booing the official in the first overtime?
