Lacedarius Dunn suspended indefinitely?

Sorry guys. I don't get it though. I'm pretty slow sometimes, but what were you trying to say? And how is what immediately came to my mind so unbelievable?
 
I didn't think of it until someone brought it up, and it would never be how I'd interpret it, but I do know people who might read it like that (and also know people who would probably say it).
 
Seriously, though, where is DFW? I'm not interested in any kind of schadenfreude, I just want the inside scoop.

This is ridiculous. Where I come from, which is in the south, f word is definitely not the first interpretation for a derogatory 6 letter curse word ending in "er", especially if directed at a black person. So whether you people like it or not, there are at least 2 ways to read it. And like I said one of them is bad. I never said I thought he meant that word. In fact I didn't think he meant that, that's why I didn't get mad, I just mentioned it would be a good idea to provide more clarity than a few asterixes like that in the situation. In context it's pretty easy to interpret it the way I did at first whether meant that way or not, and I'll guarantee if you polled our team or KSU's basketball team at least one person would read it that way, even if only for a split second like I did.

Maybe my experiences give me a completely different worldview from everyone else on this board. But it's definitely not beyond imagination, so stop acting like I'm from another f***ing planet. See that wasn't so hard.
 
ok ok calm down. over reacting doesn't solve the problem. That word has never been used on this board or any other civilized sports board I frequent, thus it didn't come to mind.

Message board filters block out certain profanities and replace the letters with *'s. It seems rather obvious that he was mimicking this by blocking the first four letters. I'm pretty certain, and hope, that a message board filter would block out all 6 letters of the word you are talking about.

oh ok. I thought never even crossed my mind about the N word. I thought you were griping about it supposed to mean the F word.:ez-laugh:
 
Hopefully he's kicked off the team for good. Hitting a 22 year old female and breaking her jaw is unacceptable. Hit me. I'm 40. I'm a man. :facepalm
