Lon is on with Al

Matt's is the original and some think the best. There cheese is melted until it is thin and volcano hot. It lets the cheese seep into the burger. Personally, I'm partial to a newer place called the Blue Door located in St. Paul. There are so few tables it is hard to get in. Probably better for the blood pressure not to eat too many of those anyway.

I think the other place on the show was the 58 club

That's another well known place. There was also the Nook which burned down a few years ago. They owned another place called Shamrocks that has pretty decent jucy lucies. I'm not personally a huge fan of the 5-8 club. I'd take Matt's or blue door over it any day.

"Headline News"

Once, there was this kid who
Took a trip to Singapore and brought along his spray paint
And when he finally came back
He had cane marks all over his bottom
He said that it was from when
The warden whacked it so hard

Mmm mmm mmm mmm, mmm mmm mmm mmm

[whip sound] Ahh

Once there was this girl who
Swore that one day she would be a figure skating champion
And when she finally made it
She saw some other girl who was better [ding sound]
And so she hired some guy to
Club her in the kneecap

Mmm mmm mmm mmm, mmm mmm mmm mmm
[thwack sound] Ahh
Mmm mmm mmm mmm, mmm mmm mmm mmm

They got paid for their sound bites
And sold their TV movie rights

And then, there was this guy who
Made his wife so mad one night that she cut off his weiner
And when he finally came to
He found that Mr. Happy was missing
He couldn't quite explain it
It'd always just been there

Mmm mmm mmm mmm, mmm mmm mmm mmm
Mmm mmm mmm mmm, mmm mmm mmm mmm

I completely agree. Coleslaw on pull pork. I think that Carolina style pork already has a bit of vinegar bite to it also. So tender. Big fan.

Any of you come up to Minnesota, you'll have to try a juicy lucy. It is a cheeseburger with the cheese cooked inside the patty. Like a Reese's where the burger is the chocolate and the peanut butter is the cheese.

A friend of mine had one of these at the Target Field when we were in Minneapolis for a sports weekend (Twins/A's game on Friday night, Gophers/USC game on Saturday, Vikings/Packers on Sunday). He said it was delicious!

I'm not going to lie. This is the best thread I've ever seen on this board.

Meet Juicy Lucy's dad.

A couple was celebrating 50 years together.

Their three kids, all very successful, agreed to a Sunday dinner in their honor.

"Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad," gushed son number one. 'Sorry I'm running late. I had an emergency at the hospital with a patient, you know how it is, and I didn't have time to get you a gift."

"Not to worry," said the father. "The important thing is that we're all together today." Son number two arrived and announced, "You and Mom look great, Dad. I just flew in from Los Angeles between depositions and didn't have time to shop for you."

"It's nothing," said the father. "We're glad you were able to come."

Just then the daughter arrived. "Hello and happy anniversary! I'm sorry, but my boss is sending me out of town and I was really busy packing so I didn't have time to get you anything."

After they had finished dessert, the father said, "There's something your mother and I have wanted to tell you for a long time. You see, we were very poor. Despite this, we were able to send each of you to college. Throughout the years your mother and I knew that we loved each other very much, but we just never found the time to get married."

The three children gasped and all said,
"You mean we're bastards?"

"Yep," said the father,
"And cheap ones too."
