Longest win streak since late 2009

Thats right, this 4 game win streak is the longest win streak since a 6 game run from 11/28/09 (Nicholls St) to 12/19/09 (Northern Colorado). That run also featured wins over Arizona, Arkansas, Utah and Centenary.


Also since all 4 of these wins have come in conference this means its the longest win streak since early 2009 when we won 11 straight to start the season.

Its been a long past couple years ladies and gentleman.

We played very well against Arizona and Arkansas. We looked like a sweet-16 calibur team against Arizona. But I'm more proud of this group for this 4-game run than anything that team did last year. The games we won were just during that run were because we had so much talent with TMG, WW, Tiny, Crock and Cade. They just happened to have good shooting nights early. Once things went south, they showed their true colors (Crock and Cade aside)

But this year's team has fight. Even yesterday we only shot 27% from the 3-pt line. Cade and Clarks big rebounds and the team defense was the key to this one. Even if last year's team had won 20 games I would still like this team better.
