Looking ahead

OU will beat Gonzaga....book it right now!

Guys this team is going to get better and better and by conference time watch out!

For now 19/11 9/7 plus 1 in the B12 tournament seems very much in the dance and thats aiming lower than what this team is going to do.

We will know so much more 4 wks from now, after we win at Baylor, about this team and the conference.

We play Kansas State at home. We should win that game.

Kansas St is a good basketball team, so I wouldn't make that statement. They have an outstanding backcourt and are well coached. They dominated a good Vegas team last night on the road and just blew out a decent Xavier team. It's going to be a tough game for the Sooners.

Are you guys paying attention to the National Press? The analysts are all saying that the Pac 10 is down this year and that the Big 12 is probably the best conference in the country.

This team has started slow, but they showed some real heart yesterday. Had we played Utah 2 weeks ago, we lose by 12 or more. I wish we had a couple of more quality guys, particularly in the post, but we have a good 6 man rotation and we will win games if we can keep Tiny out of foul trouble and can find a way to get him a few minutes of rest each game.

We are very young and we will do nothing but get better. Tiny is going to improve more than any other player in the league between now and year end...

The good news is that our losses were early. Let's give these guys another month before we start ripping them. The door is wide open for us to get a third place finish in the league with just a few breaks. Other than Kansas and Texas, whose personnel would you rather have going into league play? Tech? A&M? OSU? Yeah Right!

The fact that we are a good Foul Shooting team will allow us to win some close games. Way too early to be upset or even concerned about going to the Big Dance.

BTW, with the Utah win yesterday we jumped from 192 to 142 in the RPI.

Our RPI will go up, up, up during Big 12 play. Just playing Texas and Kansas shoots up the RPI, even if you lose.
