Looks like Mizzou may have its guy

Hahaha Frank Haith is trending on twitter. Hilarious.

@GuerinEmig: I can only assume that whatever Mizzou owed the rest of the Big 12, it's all square now.

Let's be honest, Frank Haith and the Missouri Basketball program have only one thing in common: Mediocrity.

I will say this for Haith: the Miami basketball job is absolutely horrible.

At this point that's what I keep telling myself as well. Maybe he will do better at school with significantly better facilities and resources.

This was a very unexpected and underwhelming hire for Missouri fans. Still if he is our coach I will support him until he proves he can't win at Mizzou. I just hope a change of location helps. Supposedly he can recruit really well and he has graduated 21 out of 22 seniors. I have to look for whatever positives I can find.

At least Haith will have an entire team returning to help him look good next season.

Dammit, you guys just don't understand the logic....Alden was dead set on not having his coach stolen again.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

This helps OU. Haith is a fairly significant step down from Anderson, IMO. From Painter to Haith. Ouch.

I went to bed way too early last night. Is this really true? Am I still dreaming?

From Tigerboard

"When the opportunity to hire a coach who successfully guided his team to a 9th place ACC finish presents itself, you simply have to jump on it" Said Mr. Alden. "I am confident that Frank will bring that same level of success to the University of Missouri."

He added, "We remain a somewhat proud member of the Big 12 Conference."

If you are going after a mediocre coach in Florida, shouldn't you at least get Leonard Hamilton? He's has more NCAAs, more NITs and a lot more .500+ conference records.

Mr. Alden quickly added "let's see someone steal our coach away NOW!"
